Our mission.
In the Cieniewicz lab at Clemson University, we strive to understand plant virus ecology and epidemiology, decipher dynamics of mixed infections, and develop innovative methods for virus disease diagnostics and management. Our research is sometimes hypothesis-driven, sometimes discovery-based, and always purpose-driven. We integrate field-based, lab-based, and analytical approaches.
